Why does buffering happen?
Playback stuttering commonly has four causes:
- Quality set too high: the video’s bitrate exceeds what your current network can handle.
- Unstable network: a weak signal, or shared bandwidth taken up by other devices.
- An old browser or too many tabs: memory is consumed and video decoding struggles.
- Congestion at the source: more likely during peak internet hours.
Step 1: Pick the right quality
Higher quality is not always better — choose "the highest quality your network can sustain":
| Quality | When to use it |
|---|---|
| 1080p (FHD) | Fine detail; needs a stable, faster connection. |
| 720p (HD) | The best balance of quality and smoothness; barely different to the eye on a phone screen. |
| 480p or below | A safe choice on a weaker network or on mobile data. |
Step 2: Optimise your network
- Prefer Wi-Fi: it is usually more stable than mobile data.
- Mind your data usage: HD streaming uses roughly 1 to 3 GB per hour — watch your plan for long sessions.
- Avoid peak hours: evenings are peak internet time and shared bandwidth gets thinner.
- Stay near the router: too much distance or too many walls noticeably weakens the Wi-Fi signal.
Step 3: Tidy up your browser
- Keep the browser updated: newer versions support video decoding and web standards better.
- Close unused tabs: every background tab consumes memory.
- Clear the cache regularly: an oversized cache can actually slow page loading.
- Mind power-saving mode: iOS Low Power Mode and Android battery saver restrict video autoplay and background activity — turn them off when needed.
Step 4: Check ad blockers and extensions
Ad-blocking extensions sometimes mistakenly block resources the player needs, causing playback to fail. If a page will not play, try temporarily disabling the blocker for that site and reloading the page.
MissTK’s mobile optimisation
Unlike many JAV sites whose layout is "too small and needs constant zooming" on phones, MissTK uses responsive (RWD) design: videos, thumbnails and menus all adjust automatically to the screen size, with no pinching or zooming. The site also serves content through Cloudflare’s global CDN nodes, so loading speed on mobile networks is optimised too.
FAQ
What should I do if a video keeps buffering?
First drop the quality one step (for example from 1080p to 720p), then switch to a stable Wi-Fi connection — that solves most buffering problems.
Why won’t a video autoplay?
Usually the phone has power-saving or Low Power Mode enabled, which restricts video autoplay. Turning it off normally restores playback.
Does watching JAV on mobile data use a lot of data?
HD streaming uses about 1 to 3 GB per hour. For long sessions, use Wi-Fi or keep an eye on your data plan.
